This abstract highlights the advancements and diverse applications of biopolymer-based biomaterials. Biopolymers derived from natural sources offer unique properties, biocompatibility, and sustainability, making them attractive for various biomedical applications. The synthesis and modification of biopolymers allow for tailoring their properties to meet specific requirements, such as controlled drug release and improved cell-material interactions.
