Bone removal, extensive bursal tissue resection, the insertion of hardware, and soft tissue distension from irrigation fluid are typically the outcomes of arthroscopic rotator cuff repair. Good clinical outcomes have been reported following rotator cuff repair in recent years as a result of advancements in technology and disease research. However, arthroscopic shoulder surgery is still associated with severe postoperative pain. Postoperative pain can have an impact on a patient's rehabilitation and level of satisfaction, as well as their functional outcomes over time.
