Pediatric orthopedic oncology is a highly specialized field that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of musculoskeletal tumors in children and adolescents. Dealing with cancer in young patients presents unique challenges, both medically and emotionally. Pediatric musculoskeletal tumors differ significantly from adult tumors in their presentation and biology.
